T-Mobile introduces a new smartphone called Samsung Sidekick 4G. Samsung Sidekick 4G is powered by Google’s Android operating system and is the successor of the T-Mobile’s Sidekick series.

The new Sidekick has a “pop-tilt” hinge which reveals the full QWERTY keyboard, a feature found in all Sidekick series. Best for those who enjoys text and email messaging, or simply like to type comfortably on their handset. Two additional features in Sidekick calls “Group Text” and “Cloud Text”, further helps you with all your messaging needs.

Samsung Sidekick 4G is also the first in the Sidekick lineup to feature touch sensitive display.
Powered by Android, you get Facebook, Twitter, Google Mobile services, Google Talk, Gmail, Google Maps, and access to over thousand of downloadable Apps available via Android Market.

If that doesn’t impress you, the Sidekick 4G is also an entertainment device. Powered by T-Mobile HSPA+ (up to 21 Mbps download speed), the Sidekick’s Media Room features Youtube videos, T-Mobile TV, Slacker radio and Samsung Media Hub. Giving you access to CBS, Fox, NBC, MTV, Warner Bros., and etc. directly on your handset.
The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G is expected to be available this spring and in two colors: Matte Black and Pearl Magenta.
