The redesigned Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch Android Honeycomb tablet, made thinner and lighter, is now available for pre-order.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch is powered by the latest Android Honeycomb 3.1 operating system running on top of 1Ghz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with 1GB system memory. The Android OS gives you instant access to thousand of apps, games, and widgets from the Android Market. You also get full Adobe Flash support, so you can surf the entire web without limitations. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 offers more powerful hardware, higher display resolution, and more features at the same pricing model as that of the Apple iPad 2.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab (10.1-Inch, 16GB, Wi-Fi) model is available for $499.99, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab (10.1-Inch, 32GB, Wi-Fi) model is available for $599.99. The tablet comes in two back colors: Metallic Gray and White.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch Wi-Fi only versions are now availablefor pre-order in U.S. from Amazon and BestBuy. They are estimated to arrive by June 17, 2011. Moreover, the 3G models with HSPA+ support are expected to be available in August.
