Kno Brings Textbooks App To iPad

Kno has been actively working with textbook publishers to develop digital textbook services available for students worldwide.

Kno first announced to introduce its own line of tablet in June 2010. However, in April 2011, Kno decided to give up the license to its hardware design to Intel and concentrate its efforts on developing software intended “to make learning engaging, effective and social for students.” Kno even offered to refund customers who already bought its tablet.

To begin its long-term plan to support multiple platforms, Kno has now introduced its first textbook app for the iPad. The Textbooks app brings over 70,000 titles at 30% to 50% off the list price. This isn’t just another eBook or PDF reader app. It is loaded with goodies to make your reading and collaboration life a bit easier.
